Travis authored the screenplay for all 32 of the Hedges Pictures films, many of which have won awards. They include: The 54 Day Creep (Best Writing), Dance World Revelations (Best of the Fest), The Lady Is A Doll (Best of the Fest), Darth Apprentice (Best Comedy), Ballet For Children-Unauthorized 3 (Best Comedy), and Must Love Board Games (Best Gaming Film).

His writing and vision for Roar into Action won the first film in the series the award for "Best Children's Short" at the 2007 New York Independent Film Festival.
